  • Building a Collaborative Enterprise

The July-August edition of the "Harvard Business Review" released an article in its latest publication titled "Building a Collaborative Enterprise" addressing "four keys to creating a culture of trust and teamwork". ICC recognizes the talent of its collaborative and encourages the participants through the collective mission of providing knowledge, insight in conjunction with shared patient information to the Central Texas Health Care Communities. The Integrated Care Collaboration can be both innovative and efficient through collective principles, innovative thinking and a coordinated effort for retrieving and defining data. In his article, Paul Adler who is a professor at the Marshall School of Business of the University of Southern California has clearly defined what the ICC is already doing and he has clearly articulated the philosophy of the ICC.

  • Who's New

The Integrated Care Collaboration (ICC) has evolved over the years to become recognizable in the arena of Healthcare Analytics. This is contributed to the insight and the hard work of ICC's analytical team in addition to their innovative approach to extraction, presentation of key clinical information and the response to an evolving situation in real time. ICC has been fortunate enough to have in place an intelligent and exceptionally gifted group of employees who understand the latest practices and standards in health care and recognize the real needs of the health care community to sustain and grow. With the expectation of more accountability and the provision of quality health care, ICC continues to employ talented and bright individuals who are willing and able to meet the demands of this industry. As some of the team players at ICC moves on to greater challenges we are fortunate enough to find the talent and intelligence for replacement but more importantly we are fortunate enough to have individuals in place with the vision and capacity to move ICC forward.

Dana Craven continues to provide vision and oversight in the area of analytics. Dana has a Bachelor of Science degree from Concordia University, and she brings to ICC 14 years of experience in various facets of health care consulting and operations. She is skilled in the area of process redesign and managed care assessment for academic medical centers and community hospitals, in addition to program assessments for state and federal government agencies, and strategy development for managed care organizations.

A recent addition to the team supporting Ms. Craven is Senior Health care Analyst Marx Gayden. Marx has 20 years work experience in the health care industry, public and private sectors. He has a working knowledge of Medicaid, Medicare and Managed Care programs. In addition, Marx has knowledge of and skills using enterprise relational databases, data marts, data cubes and dimensions. He earned his undergraduate degree in computer information systems from the University of Wisconsin and his graduate degree from Concordia College/University. He holds two certifications; software project management from University of Texas, School of Engineering and Information Technology Infrastructure Library from Loyalist College.

ICC also has the support and talent of Jamie Moxham, Director of Program Analytics who splits her time between analytics for ICC and Lone Star Circle of Care. Jamie received her Master of Science in Public Health, with an emphasis in Health Services Administration, and a BS in Behavioral Science and Health from the University of Utah.

Joining this team of talented women is Emily Schiefelbein, Senior Health care Analyst Emily works closely with the analytics team on various projects including predictive modeling and HIE evaluation. He has a Bachelor Degree in Exercise and Sports Science and is presently a Masters of Health Administration candidate at Texas State University.

As the Integrate Care Collaboration continues to grow, we continue to select the best and the brightest to move the vision of ICC forward. ICC understands that the key to successfully managing Health care organizations within our communities is to remain sufficiently focused on the field of Health care Analytics, up to date with the latest practices and standards, and furthermore to support and continue to encourage collaborative decision making.
